Our API can support both enterprise structures with multiple reward budgets and simple structures involving just one account.
There are three organizational levels we must define for every API integration:
PLATFORM Level - This is the entity that has the direct relationship with Tango Card and is performing the integration. Whether your organization is complex or simple, you will have just one platform.
CUSTOMER (GROUP) Level - A Group is a way of organizing Accounts. If you will have only one Account you will only need to create one Group. If you have multiple Accounts you may want to create multiple Groups under which you can group like Accounts. Note! In our Rewards Genius Portal "Customer" has been renamed to "Group" and that is the term we will use in the future. Our API endpoints still refer to this level as "Customer".
ACCOUNT Level - Accounts are where funds are stored and orders are placed against accounts. Determine whether or not you need multiple accounts.
We'll set up your platform and provide you with the access credentials. Once you have your credentials, you can use the API to create CUSTOMERs and ACCOUNTs according to your desired platform configuration.
Custom email templates can be configured at the PLATFORM, CUSTOMER (GROUP), or ACCOUNT level.
- If you just need one ACCOUNT then you will only have one CUSTOMER (GROUP), which you may name identically to your account for the sake of simplicity.
- If you have multiple accounts, you may choose to group them under multiple Customers (Groups), according to your business model.
