Embedded gift card experience

Tango provides seamless ways to deliver digital gift cards directly inside your application. You can embed the gift card experience into your application using:

Embedded component: Embed a Tango‑controlled UI component—such as the MPC Open‑Loop Prepaid Card Widget—directly inside your application. This option is available for Open‑Loop prepaid cards only. See Get embedded component.
Embedded URL: Integrate Tango’s hosted landing page inside your application using an iFrame (web) or WebView (mobile). With the embeddedURL endpoint, you can display the gift card experience without sending rewards by email or opening a new browser window or tab. See Get embedded URL.

Benefits of the embedded gift card experience

These benefits apply to both embedding approaches as both deliver a seamless, in‑app redemption experience:

Keeps recipients inside your application: preventing redirects or separate browser tabs.
Provides a secure, token‑based redemption flow inside your UI: Embedded URL uses a time‑limited token in the URL, while embedded Component uses token + tenantKey.

Revise or reload the widget using fresh tokens without a new reward delivery event.
Controlled, secure access via required domain allowlisting.

Providing automatic updates by Tango when the supplier changes the image, terms and conditions, or disclaimer

Offering an easier, more streamlined printing process experience
Multilingual support, including Dutch, English, French (Canada), etc.
Unlockable landing page: recipients enter a provided security code to view credentials.

The embedded gift card securely displays digital gift card details while ensuring a consistent presentation that complies with brand requirements. To unlock the landing page and view gift card credentials, enter the security code you receive with the landing page URL.
